Today I am sharing details of an old but a pretty casual outfit. This used to be my go-to style once upon a time.

Kurtas, Yes!! A perfect combination of style and comfort. That smart, breathable piece of clothing!!

Kurtas can be dressed formally as well as casually. Here, you will find me pairing this pastel yellow kurta with my favorite distressed jeans. This color is so perfect for this season. And why not, it’s all about PASTELS this time. There are a plenty of ways to style this kurta.

  • Wearing kurta with leggings is all how this trend started. It is a proper office wear.
  • Wear it with jeans. Kurta and jeans combo make you look tall, so this is my favorite style.
  • Pair it with palazzo or wide leg pants. This style is in trend now and is very comfortable. And has become quite apt for work these days.
  • Wearing a kurta with a long skirt is also a great style. It sure does satisfy the comfort quotient. Since this is a plain kurta, you can go for a printed bottom.
Kurta – Aurelia

Kurtas are so effortlessly chic and smart. This kurta, from Aurelia ( is a favorite of mine cz’ I love its fabric. It is stiff cotton, so it makes you look sharp and smart. Aurelia has a large collection of not only pretty kurtas but also tops and beautiful bottom wear. And they are very affordable and have great quality.

Earring – Pondy Bazar (Street shopping)

Kurtas can be accessorized in many ways, depending on your mood and occasion. I am wearing a pair of oxidized jhumka (earrings) to get all the ethnic feels. You can add bangles or bracelet too if you wish to dress it up. Carrying a mini cross-body bag and a flat footwear, I have kept it way too casual. But adding these long earrings made me look really dressed and ready. See!! It’s all about how you accessorize a simple outfit.
