I had not started wearing lipsticks until I was 27. I somehow got a craze over these lip paints and started collecting so many of ‘em. Well, I guess it all started with the color tinted lip balms.
Lipsticks are fun and easy that can spruce up a simple look. I tend to incline towards nude/peachy shades usually. Here is a sneak peek to a few of my favorite nude lip colors for this season.
L’Oreal Infallible Lip Paints (Spicy Blush 314) – A pink toned light neutral shade. This lip gloss is semi-matte and not too glossy. Doesn’t dry fast, slightly sticky which makes your lips feel fresh. This is definitely comfortable on the lips. They do not show any chapped lips. This color (spicy blush) is a beautiful girly shade, apt for any occassion. This is a gloss, at least that’s what it says, but I apply it just like any other lipstick. Oh and this one has a very nice fragrance. It goes with everything I wear and instantly makes me feel more sophisticated.
Sephora Collection #LIPSTORIES (03 Oui!)– I swear by this lipstick (8US$). It is a perfect nude color. This collection in Sephora has around 40 shades in matte, metal and cream finish. The shade ‘Oui!’ has a creamy/satin finish. One swipe is enough to give full coverage. It is a light weight and highly moisturized lipstick. I got attracted to its packaging and its affordable price. This color will surely get you in the spring state of mind.
Colorbar USA (Coco Cuddle 032 C)– This shade is neutral brown in color. It has a more creamy and semi-opaque texture. This glides beautifully on the lips giving them a fuller look. It is ideal for dry lips. It is super moisturizing without being sticky. This lipstick is hydrating and is very light on your lips. And this one lasts for a minimum of 2-3 hours. Retouch required.
Happy Spring!! And thanks for reading. 🙂
